10% Commission Structure for Referring Realtors & Travel Agents
Realtors and travel agents who refer guests to Beach Houses in Paradise can earn a 10% commission on the owner’s rate. For example, if the owner’s rate for a weekly stay is $10,000, a commission of 10% will be paid, or $1,000. Payment is made one day after the referred guest checks in to their beach house. (In the vacation rental industry, all major booking platforms remit payment to property management companies like Beach Houses in Paradise the day after check-in, including Booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms.)
To receive credit for the reservation, the person who books the home should be advised to identify the realtor or travel agent who made the referral during the booking process or as soon as possible thereafter. Alternatively, the realtor or travel agent may choose to identify the name of the renter to Beach Houses in Paradise in advance. (Please email Al Roberts at Al.Roberts@BeachHousesInParadise.com with both the renter’s name and your own name, along with your preferred payment method.)
Caveats and Conditions
- Available payment methods include check and digital (digital payments provided by PayPal, a Fortune 500 company).
- If a guest cancels or changes their reservation and the owner’s rate is affected, the 10% commission is calculated based upon the final owner’s rate.
- The maximum payable referral commission is 10%. If two agents both claim credit for a single referral, each agent will be remitted a half share, or 5% each.
