Carpe Diem: See What's Inside

Master Bedroom (3rd floor).  The master bedroom ordinarily sleeps 2 adults. For grown-ups with young children, there is ample room in the bedroom to utilize our supply of cribs, bassinets, and sleeping cots.  Or, a large rollaway bed located in the closet can be wheeled out to provide another bed that sleeps up to 2 adults.

Observation Platform (4th floor).  This room sleeps up to 6 adults, as each piece of the sectional converts to a sofa-sleeper.  However, there is no bathroom on this floor, only a small bar/refrigerator/sink.  When used for sleeping purposes, this room is more popular with teens and children than older adults, perhaps because it takes 3 flights of stairs to get there!

Oceanfront Guest Bedroom (3rd floor).  This room ordinarily sleeps 2, but can sleep 4 by adding a second bed (a large rollaway on caster wheels that sleeps 2) that is stored in the bedroom's closet.

Oceanfront Guest Bedroom (2nd floor).  This bedroom is located on the main living floor of Carpe Diem, just off to the side from the open kitchen/living/dining area.  This bedroom is sometimes preferred by older adults who wish to keep stair-climbing to a minimum.  Ordinarily sleeps 2, but can comfortably sleep 4 via a large rollaway bed stored in the closet.  All beds are on caster wheels that roll easily across the stone floor; so it is effortless to change configurations on a whim.

Riverfront Bedroom (3rd floor).  Note:  These pictures represent our configuration for one or two children.  The room is also available in a double-bunkbed + trundle configuration that sleeps 5 kids, as well as a two-twin configuration for adults.  Since all beds are on caster wheels, it's easy to change configurations back and forth.  However, if you prefer the bunk-bed configuration, please let us know in advance, as these are slightly more cumbersome to move around.

Living Room (couch is a sofa-sleeper):  The living room can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults, via the sleeper sofa (pictured, in white) and a second large rollaway bed that is stored in a nearby closet.  (All beds are on caster wheels, so it's easy to change sleeping configurations as you wish, and on an as-needed basis).

Kitchen:   In the configuration pictured below, the small dining table (green) has a hidden leaf (not pictured below) that expands the table into dining for 6 to 8. For those with larger dining requirements, we also keep an 8-foot rectangular banquet table plus table cloth, plus additional  dining chairs, for total simultaneous dining capacity of up to 16.  (The banquet table is a fold-up on caster wheels, that can be wheeled around on demand, as you see fit.  It is typically positioned in the open rectangular area behind the white sleeper sofa, for oceanfront dining)
