Beach House Rentals with Boat Dock

Right in your back yard lies a 150-foot-long deep-water dock on the Indian River, offering some of the best fishing in the world, and stocked with all your favorite water toys, including complimentary kayaks, paddleboards, AquaCycle, snorkel gear, boogie boards, rafts, fishing poles, tackle, coolersand more.

Private Dock at "Eden Beach Retreat"

Boat Slip at "Nirvana Shores" & "Restoration Sands"

There are two pairs of mooring whips on the dock, as well as the U-shaped mooring area under the roof. The dock has lines, water, and electric. For safety and insurance reasons, boat lifts are not operational.

The water is shallow at the entrance of the dock, and remains shallow for approximately three quarters of its length, until the end of the dock, where the water depths average 2 1/2 feet to 5 feet depending on the tide.

If this sounds too shallow/short for your vessel, there are other nearby options: the Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort & Marina is one of the few marinas/docks in the area that are regularly dredged and can handle larger boats. There is also a public boat ramp located right next to the marina. Both are less than 2 miles from Nirvana Shores.

Freshwater and Saltwater Access

Our docks sit right on the Indian River Lagoon, which is the most biologically diverse estuary in America. From seatrout to snook, also home to some of the best freshwater fishing in South Florida. How big a tarpon will you catch?

Prefer saltwater fish? You are within one mile of access to the Atlantic Ocean from our slips. Raise anchor, release the riggings, and take a cruise on the ocean!

Arriving by Boat

Many visitors to Beach Houses in Paradise arrive by boat, taking full advantage of the fact that every Beach House in Paradise has its own private dock. (Note:  To park your boat at your beach-house dock, we recommend that your vessel draft 3 feet or less when fully loaded.) We are approximately 1.5 miles north of the St. Lucie inlet, just a few hundred yards from the nautical-map milestones House of Refuge and Gilbert's Bar.

Arriving via the Ocean

If you choose to arrive via ocean (on a calm-weather day), here's what to do: First, study the map below.  Print out a copy and bring it with you for the helm.  After entering the inlet, turn right at the Crossroads, and bear north up the Intracoastal Waterway.  Stay within channel markers at all times, as there are extensive shallow flats areas just north of the inlet, and east of the Intracoastal channel markers.  Continue to bear north up the Intracoastal Waterway until almost reaching the first bridge.  Turn right towards the Marriott Hutchinson Island Marina.  Shortly before reaching the marina, turn right again and bear on a SSE course towards the House of Refuge, staying at least 600' from shore at all times.   Upon reaching a point 600' W of the House of Refuge, travel S at no-wake speeds until arriving at your destination beach house.   (If your beach house is N of the House of Refuge, you may travel towards it at wake speed, but maintain 600' from shore at all times until arriving at your beach-house destination).

Arriving via the Intracoastal Waterway

Boaters arriving from both the north and the south of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway should study the above map, "Directions for Boaters", and track their vessel on the same course as ocean-originating vessels, at the very first opportunity.

Note: For insurance and safety reasons, the homes do not have operational boat lifts. However there are mooring whips to tie up and moor at the dock. Our docks have cleats, lines, and water service.
